Just a little something

I have had such a busy summer this year, I haven't had much time to try and be creative.  I was finally able to squeeze in a little time to cover a box for my mother in-law and make a card for a friends birthday.


Here is the box before I covered it.

And a Birthday card for a friend. See I love this paper so much I had to use it for a card too. lol
The stamps are stampin up, colored with stampin up pencils & blender pen, crystal effects, the sentiment is from PTI - birthday bash sentiments, A2 size card, grosgrain ribbon, pearls, paper pack from HL.

Hello All You Wonderful Crafters!


I am looking for anyone interested in participating in a "Christmas in July" hop!
Every year I go to a wonderful little Island called "Put in Bay" it is located in Lake Erie in Ohio. 
They have a big party called "Christmas in July" it is on July 23rd. All the shops, bars & restaurants decorate for Christmas and there is a contest for the best decorated boat as well.
So I thought why not have a "Christmas in July" hop, I would like to keep it to about 20 participants. It will start on Friday July 22nd & end on Sunday July 24th.


All you have to do is make something Christmas related: cards, layout, gift or any project for Christmas. You can make one project or one for each day of the hop.

The Unity Blankets

I found out today that a friend of mine has made this adorable book for kids who are having a hard time adjusting to being separated from there loved ones. She started it because her son was having a hard time adjusting to being separated from mommy & daddy when he first started school.
If you know some children who are having a hard time adjusting to being separated from their loved ones, this might be something that could help.
