Tip Time Tuesday

Welcome to Tip Time Tuesday at the Creative Cutter Room!

Hi, this is Elaine from ExpressionsByElaine  I am sharing a tip with you today for Creative Cutter Room!

Last month I shared some tips for organizing your scraps. And while I was organizing I realized how many large pieces I had.

So I decided to go through my scraps and get out all the large pieces I had like these.

And cut them down to use for my A2 size card bases.
Some were cut to 4.25" X 11"
like this.

And some were cut to 5.5" x 8.5"
like this.

Then fold them into a base for your cards and they are ready to go.  Grab the color you want for your
card base and start creating your card!

This will help reduce your scraps and
save you some time.

I hope this has been a helpful tip for you, I know it has saved me
a lot of time when creating my cards.

Thanks for joining us at Creative Cutter Room!

  1. Great tip! Never thought to use them as cards or card bases. I always used them for larger cuts! Great idea, thanks!!

  2. This is a great idea Elaine! I have my solid papers organized like this and my pattern paper in drawers by color theme.
