Valentines Day Card Blog Hop!!

Welcome to the Valentines Day Card Blog Hop. Hosted by Ellen at CardMonkey!!

Today we are sharing with you cards for Valentines Day!

Be sure and hit all 14 stops & leave comments for some yummy candy!

I made 2 cards to share with you today:)

#1

I printed my sentiment out on the computer using
Minya Nouvelle True Type. Then I cut it out and used the corner rounder
and a white gel pen.

The truffles were cut at 1" and I found them at freesvgfiles for SCAL, I altered them a bit.

#2

I made this card from the Animal Kingdom booklet pg. 22 and blinged it up a bit.
The cuts were on pages 120 & 121.
Vellum for the fishbowl cut at 3.5"
Fish were cut at 1-1/4"
Seaweed cut at 2"
Words were cut at 1"
The heart is from Create A Critter pg. 64 at .5"

Make sure you are a follower, leave a comment and also tell me what your favorite Valentine treat is. What kind of candy or yummy dessert.

And let me know how I can get in contact with you, so if you win I can let you know. (I will pick with random.org on Monday night and post on Tues. morning)

I do have candy for you but I am not sure what yet,

My Blog Has Attitude Award

I was given this a couple of weeks ago, trying to catch up.

I was so excited when I received my first blog award, it is from Pat at http://patsscraps.blogspot.com/ .
Thank you very much Pat for thinking of me!

Now, for receiving this award, I need to state 3 things that make me different from everyone else, and nominate 5 other bloggers to receive the "My Blog has Attitude Award."
  1. I was diagnosed with Celiac 8 yrs. ago after being sick for 5 years prior to that.
  2. I never knew what a Cricut was until I was flipping the tv stations and seen it on HSN in Nov. 2010 and said "I have to have that, it looks awesome".
  3. I am a night owl, so if you see a post at 4 a.m. EST it means I haven't been to bed yet!

Now for the 5 blogger's that I would like to share this with. Because I think their wonderful work should be shared with other bloggers.
  1. Janet @ http://paperhoot.blogspot.com/
  2. Emily @ http://mylittlesliceofbliss.blogspot.com/
  3. Van (Vung) http://ascrappydream.blogspot.com/
  4. Tilly @ http://elowezil.blogspot.com/
  5. Sarah @ http://sarahvaitstamps.blogspot.com/

Now it's your turn to pass the award on (doing the same thing I've done here). You should also display the Blog Award Badge in your sidebar (you can copy and paste it and link it back to me). Congratulations to all of you!!

FIF #5 From My Kitchen Martini

This week your challenge is to FLAUNT the martini cut with the From My Kitchen cartridge on page 60.     You can make any type of project you like with this cut, but we CHALLENGE you to make something other than the type of project you made last time, but not required.

I used 3 different cuttlebug folders
for the martini glass I used one of the folders from Border Iron Works,
for the yellow layer I used Spots and and Dots
for the brown layer I used Candy Cane Stripe

The martini glass was cut at 4.5" - A2 size card

The twine is from Really Reasonable Ribbon

I decided to add the olive for a little more color.
For the olive I used the circle they had but trimmed it too look more like an olive.
