Welcome to It's A Joy 2 Scrap's April Fool's Day Blog Hop! I hope everyone is having a fantastic Friday! If you came here from ajoy2scrap , you are in the right place. However, if you happened upon my blog, please head over to It's A Joy 2 Scrap's blog so you don't miss any of the fun.
For this hop, we were asked to create a project that “tricks the eye.”
I made a Never Ending Card for a birthday. I found out how to make this on YouTube, just type in never ending card and tons of them will come up. It really is very easy to do, so if you like it you should definitely give it a try.
The designer paper is from StampinUp, it is called "Ice cream parlor"
The solid paper is from Michaels it was a birthday gift.
For the front page I embossed the words "Happy Birthday" using versamark and the "Birthday Bash Sentiments" set from Paper Trey Ink.
On the second page for the "cupcake & celebrate" I used the "Once Upon a Princess" cartridge
and cut them both at 2.5"
For the third page I used the "Sweet Treats" cartridge and cut the words "ready set blow" out at 2.5"
I then cut them apart to use on the card.
For the candle I cut the flame out at 3" and cut a candle by hand.
For the last page I used the "Sweet Treats" cartridge to cut out "Make a Wish", it was cut at 2.5" then I cut off the "Wish" because it was way to big. Then I re-cut the "Make a Wish" again at 1" so I could use the word "Wish".
I hope you like it, It was a lot of fun to make!
And of course we can't forget the Candy!!
I have Gellyroll Stardust Sparkling Glitter Pens, I love these!
Be a follower and make sure you leave a way for me to contact you if you are the winner:)
